This philosophy is at the heart of Chakaiseki. Rather than exaggerating the visual aspect to make the dish look more appealing, a great deal of thought is put into every aspect so that the original taste can be fully appreciated. Moreover, the architecture is authentic, built by the hands of Japanese Sukiya carpenters (traditional tea house master craftsmen). Please enjoy the world view of the tea ceremony, where boiling water in an iron kettle and serving the guest a single cup of tea is the highest form of hospitality, and where the essence of it all is that one serving.

Hidden messages from the host

In Japan, the unwritten rules of communication emphasise the fact one should understanding the feelings of the other person without much use of words.
