Japanese people have a strong aesthetic sense for the beauty of calmness (wabi) rather than lavishness and brilliance. This philosophy is at the heart of Chakaiseki. Rather than exaggerating the visual aspect to make the dish look more appealing, a great deal of thought is put into every aspect so that the original taste can be fully appreciated. Chakaiseki is an all-encompassing art of time and space between the guest and the host. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Attending the tea ceremony with a clear heart.<\/h2>\n

From the hanging scroll showing the theme of the day, to the arrangement of tea ceremony utensils, to the interweaving of the seasons and the thoughts of the tea master, the tea ceremony encompasses the aesthetic sense of Japanese people. Moreover, the architecture is authentic, built by the hands of Japanese Sukiya carpenters (traditional tea house master craftsmen). Please enjoy the world view of the tea ceremony, where boiling water in an iron kettle and serving the guest a single cup of tea is the highest form of hospitality, and where the essence of it all is that one serving. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

It is a mind to heart connection, on a deeper spiritual level between people. In our establishment, messages from the host are hidden not only in dishes but also in tableware, hanging scrolls, flowers, and so on.
